Unfortunately, if you are in Mainz for an internship, you have to look for a room rented by private landlords: Private Living.

Step 2: Your Priorities

It’s important that you know what you want out of your new room. We've put together a few questions to think about.

What do you find more important?

  1. Living close to campus or living in your prefered dorm?
  2. Absolute privacy or contact to your roomies?
[Single Aparment] or[Single room in flatshare]
  3. Nicer, but also more expensive living or a standard room?
[K3, Oberstadt, Wallstraße] or [Hechtsheim, Inter II, Kisselberg, Münchfeld, Taubertsberg, Weisenau]
  4. A community kitchen and community bathrooms, which are cleaned for you or clean the kitchen and the bathroom by yourself?

  5. Sharing an oven and four stove tops or having two stove tops to youself?
[4/8 flatshare Hechtsheim, K3, Kisselberg/Inter II; Münchfeld ] oder [Hechtsheim (2/3 flatshare), Inter II (besides 8-flatshare), K3 (besides 4 flatshare), Kisselberg (besides 4 flatshare), Oberstadt, Taubertsberg, Wallstraße, Weisenau]
  6. Living alone or with your significant other/family?

Step 5: Our Offer

Step 5: Our Offer

You'll receive an offer between January - March and between July - September. If you haven't received an e-mail, please contact us. Please check your e-mails regularly during this time, because you will only have 3 days to send in your confirmation.

Our rooms are always assigned at the beginning of the Semester. The standard start of our contracts is either April 1st or October 1st. According to this, you will receive our offer before that time frame.

We can only offer you the rooms that currently are free. We always try to consider all of your wishes, but please understand that this doesn't always work. So if you don't get the offer on a room you wanted, it's because that room is already taken by someone else.

Step 6: Your decision

Step 6: Your decision

Do you want to accept the room that we offered to you? Then quickly sign the contract we sent you, scan it or take a picture of it and send it back to us in an email.

Put the original copy, your SEPA direct debit, as well as your consent to our set of user rules (two of each) in an envelope and send it to us in the mail.
