Für Studierende, die akut und unverschuldet in eine finanzielle Notlage geraten sind, bieten wir folgende Hilfen an:

- Nothilfe für internationale Studierende
- Kostenlose Mensagutscheine (sog. Freitische)

Wichtig:
Bitte setzen Sie sich vor der Antragstellung telefonisch oder per E-Mail mit den genannten Ansprechpartnerinnen in Verbindung. Wir loten dann gemeinsam mit Ihnen die mögliche Form der Unterstützung aus und senden Ihnen die notwendigen Antragsformulare zu.
Help for students in a financial emergency Councelling
The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research has provided a total of 100 million euros in grants to students who are in acute need because of the corona pandemic. The applications were submitted for the months June to September. The last time an application was possible was on 30.09. The grants are awarded by the Studierendenwerke.
Please note: Our processing time is about 4 weeks. We are currently still working on the applications from September. Since our personnel capacities are limited, no applications for aid from the Studierendenwerk Mainz (cash aid, immediate aid, emergency aid, free tables) can be made in October. With the start of the lecture period at JGU on November 2, applications can be made again.
During the Corona Pandemic, personal counseling will only be available by appointment. Please make an appointment with the responsible contact person at the respective university.
To apply for support you need to talk to one of our referee. Please contact the person in charge of your university.
