We will answer your questions and take care of your concerns. We try to cover all services offered by the Studierendenwerk Mainz for you.
If you cannot reach us by phone, we are probably on another call or you are calling outside of office hours. In this case, please send us an email – we will respond as soon as possible!

- Living in the dormitories of the Studierendenwerk Mainz
- for residents and applicants, as well as
- Holiday rentals: processing applications from residents of the Studierendenwerk Mainz
- Sending Internetaccounts (wh00) to residents who are students at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, Bingen University of Applied Sciences, other universities, and non-students

- Studicard-sales for guests and staff
- Paying out remaining credit on your Studicard
- Come to the Info Point and bring your Studicard with you. We will pay you the remaining credit.
- Studicars complaints
- Send us an email with your card number and information about the malfunction. We will get back to you.
- Lost Studicards
- Have you lost your Studicard? Send us an email with the card number of the lost card and the place and time of the loss. We will get back to you.
- Payment for free meals (Studierendenwerk Mainz, AStA and E.W. Kuhlmann-Foundation)

How can I withdraw money from my StudiCard / payment app?
How can I withdraw money from my StudiCard / payment app?
How do I get my credit back from my StudiCard?
How do I get my credit back from the StudiwerkMainz app?
There are two ways to get your remaining credit paid out:
1. Cash payment at the Infopoint
Simply come to the Infopoint during opening hours. Bring your StudiCard or your payment app with you. Your remaining credit will be paid out to you directly on site.
2. Transfer back to your bank account
Would you prefer to have the money transferred to your account? Then send an email to infopoint@studierendenwerk-mainz.de. To enable us to process the transfer quickly, please send us the following information:
- First name and surname
- IBAN and BIC
- Name of your bank
We also need:
- For the StudiCard: The 6-digit card number on the front (please not: not the number on the back, that is your library card!)
- For the StudiwerkMainz App: The stock exchange number (you can find this under “Accounts” in the App)
Please note: The transfer back to your account will take a few days.
