Welcome, dear friends of Scottish culture!
Every January, Scots all over the world celebrate the birthday of their most famous poet, Robert Burns. This special evening is characterized by music, dancing, humorous speeches and, above all, exquisite food. After the successful events of previous years, we are once again pleased to welcome all lovers of Scottish traditions to the campus of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz together with the AStA of JGU and Campus Mainz.

Admission prices:

  • Students: 19 euros
  • Non-students: 29 euros (including food and a whisky)

The musical highlight of the evening will be presented by the "John Wolfe Gang" and the "Great Highland Pipes". Experience the fascinating combination of Scottish folklore and rousing sounds.
You can also enjoy the Scottish national dish, haggis, in its traditional preparation or in a vegan version - there is something for everyone.
